About the Team:

You’ll be part of the Engineering Enablement domain, which builds the core infrastructure, tools, and
platforms that enable our product teams to deliver value faster and more reliably. Our mission is to reduce
complexity, create strong defaults, and provide shared capabilities that scale across the company.

The System Services Team is newly established and will focus on building and operating reusable services
that sit between our infrastructure and application layers. We work closely with the Edge Infrastructure
team and other platform consumers to ensure alignment, reliability, and a great developer experience.

As one of the first engineers on the team, you’ll help shape the technical foundation, culture, and ways of
working — with the freedom to influence architecture, tooling, and team practices from day one. This is a
rare opportunity to help shape a foundational layer of our platform from the ground up.

We are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Sofia (hybrid mode of work).

The Role:

You will help shape and operate the system service layer in our Kubernetes-based environment. You’ll work hands-on with cluster-level services, often exposed only via APIs, and evolve them in close collaboration with internal consumers such as product teams and other platform engineers.

The focus is not only on running services reliably, but on making them discoverable, easy to adopt, and pleas-ant to work with — helping teams move faster with confidence.

Responsibilities:

•    Designing and operating reusable services (e.g., messaging, metrics, storage) that provide foundational capabilities across the platform.
•    Building automation and self-service APIs that simplify service setup, configuration, backup, and monitor-ing.
•    Ensuring services are secure, observable, and documented in a way that supports smooth onboarding and continuous improvement.

How You Can Match:

We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working at the intersection of infrastructure and developer enablement. Ideally, you have experience with Kubernetes and container-based systems, and you’re comfortable building secure, scalable, and observable services that run reliably in production. 

You’re familiar with concepts like infrastructure APIs, service monitoring, and backups — and you know how to turn those into self-service solutions.

You're also someone who collaborates naturally across team boundaries, listens to feedback, and takes pride in improving the experience for those who build on top of your work.

It’s a plus if you have:

•    Experience with service discovery, configuration management, or operator patterns
•    Knowledge of observability tools or message brokers (regardless of the specific tech)
•    Background in platform teams or internal developer tooling
