Job Description

Playtech's Casino unit seeks a Senior Linux Firmware Engineer to build embedded systems connecting electronic gaming machines to their system. This involves installing embedded devices in slot machines, enabling player access to payment and loyalty services via a touchscreen web app. Responsibilities include building and installing these embedded systems, ensuring seamless communication between the machine and the services offered, and utilizing various communication protocols. The role requires experience with Ubuntu and Windows development environments, Yocto/Buildroot, C++, and communication protocols like RS232, I2C, TCP/IP, and USB, along with Linux kernel configuration. Experience with Java OpenJDK, embedded systems, and the gambling industry is beneficial.

Job Description

Build embedded systems which connect electronic gaming machines to our system.
Install an embedded device in each slot machine, which interfaces to the machine and provides players with access to a variety of payment and loyalty services via a touchscreen web app.
