Content Operations is ultimately responsible for successfully delivering Disney’s entertainment and sports content to millions of people every day. This involves developing, operating, and managing a global content supply chain – the myriad of steps involved from taking a finalized TV show/movie, or live piece of content, from inside Disney to audiences around the globe, in their preferred language and format. This team also manages technology operations in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Job Summary:
The Senior Network Origination Operator will make use of exceptional skills to operate broadcast equipment and technology within assigned operating areas to execute live and pre-recorded programming and commercials as scheduled. The Senior Network Origination Operator will understand & execute these items and more, including but not limited to: protocols for live programs, commercial and program log documentation, regional feeds and market protection procedures, intercom communication procedures, media transfers for specific operating conditions, and any required documentation. The Senior network Origination Operator will hold a leadership role in the group, helping to define training, procedures and best practices.
Our ideal candidate must be flexible with their schedule as this is a 24/7 operation and should expect to work nights, holidays and weekends. The ability to perform the job at hand under a tight deadline while demonstrating superior interpersonal communication skills is a must. Other skills must include: organization and planning, being able to adapt to a constantly changing environment, strong communication and a strong computer background with programs such as Outlook and Excel.
