Job Description

As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and fine-tuning the core game that drive progression, economy, and balancing in our AAA survival city-builder RPG. Your expertise in game mathematics, economy modeling, and systemic design will ensure a fair, engaging, and rewarding experience for players. Responsibilities include developing and balancing game economy, crafting, and progression systems, designing and documenting in-game resource generation, item stats, and difficulty scaling, ensuring deep and engaging combats, collaborating with designers and developers to conceptualize, implement, and polish game systems and analyzing player feedback and game data to optimize game balance.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in game system design.
  • Expertise in spreadsheets and game economy design.
  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience with live service games/survival mechanics/RPG systems.
Good to have:
  • Proficiency in scripting or game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine).

Your Role

As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and fine-tuning the core game that drive progression, economy, and balancing in our AAA survival city-builder RPG. Your expertise in game mathematics, economy modeling, and systemic design will ensure a fair, engaging, and rewarding experience for players.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and balance game economy, crafting, and progression systems.
  • Design, document, and tune in-game resource generation, item stats, and difficulty scaling.
  • Ensure deep and engaging combats that offer meaningful choices. 
  • Collaborate with our designer and developers to conceptualize, implement, and polish game systems.
  • Analyze player feedback and game data to optimize game balance.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in game system design with a strong focus on balance and progression.
  • Expertise in spreadsheets, probability models, and game economy design.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Experience with live service games, survival mechanics, or RPG progression systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting or game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, or proprietary engines) is a plus.
  • Onsite position
