As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work with Orange as a Service Provider channel partner, enabling their sales organization. Responsibilities include establishing relationships, developing managed cybersecurity solutions, training and supporting the partner, and delivering presentations/demonstrations. You will architect and propose solutions, ensure partner satisfaction, and provide feedback to product management. The role requires deep technical understanding of cybersecurity products and threats, experience with systems administration (routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, Windows), and strong communication skills in French and English. You will also act as a customer advocate for technical issues.

Your Career

As a Systems Engineer for Orange, you will work with them as a Service Provider channel partner to enable their sales organisation. You will work with your channel business partner to establish relationships across the Service Provider with the goal of developing market leading managed cyber security solutions that will enable them to detect and prevent advanced cyber attacks through their service offerings. Our systems engineers have a deep technical understanding of cybersecurity products, integrations, and critical cyber threats facing our customer’s environments.

The role of enablement is critical. You will need to use your experience to develop, train and support your Service Provider partner to deliver world class managed security solutions. You build trust with your partners, establish strong rapport as a trusted advisor, and build an environment where their solutions make their clients feel (and are) secure. Additionally, you'll be called upon to offer feedback to our product management team on new feature requests and product improvements based on what you learn from your customer base.

You will have the opportunity to learn the complete Palo Alto Networks portfolio of solutions and be a part of a fast paced, growing team where you will provide input into the technical strategy and interlock up to executive level.

Your Impact

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to Orange Group working with your Channel Business partner
  • Identify and document specific problems with prospective and current customers which can be solved through the deployment of integrated solutions 
  • Architect and propose validated solutions which address the identified SASE problems in each individual environment
  • Delivering presentations/demonstrations to prospective and current clients, PoC (Proof of Concept), RFP/RFI response
  • Ensure ongoing partner happiness, support, and adoption
  • Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking, etc.) 
  • Understand and effectively differentiate against our top competitors
  • Act as the customer advocate for any issues that require technical assistance and follow up with the customer until the issue is resolved

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Experience in a pre-sales role at a vendor, ideally in the environment of Orange
  • Preferably knowledge of Palo Alto Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and some comparative technologies - Continuous technical development
  • Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems
  • Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing)
  • Understand and effectively present our security platform to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Prior experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances, including but not limited to - Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches
  • Experience and knowledge of modern network threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and technologies, and endpoint security technologies
  • Significant industry certifications are preferred (SANS, CISSP, CCIE, etc)
  • Ability to work within small, creative teams as well as cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken, in French and English
