The Site Reliability Engineer for Delivery works alongside developers, testers, and other technical folks with a focus in improving the software delivery tooling and processes. SREs approach their responsibilities from both development and operational points of view, with an emphasis on automating all operational workflows. They collaborate closely with others to deliver code reliably and quickly to all environments. The SRE for Delivery will work with multiple software development teams and applications


  • Creates and implements new tools to automate the overall delivery process – development, analysis, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Automates every task – new environment creation, application deployment, database changes, infrastructure updates.
  • Works with development teams to help them deliver better software, quicker and safer.
  • Creates frameworks and guardrails that allow engineers to write code that is smoothly deployable, secure, and operable out of the box.
  • Works closely with infrastructure and operations teams to control the impact of application code running in user-facing production environments.
  • Understands DevOps and Lean practices and effectively advocates their implementation.
  • Clearly communicates the delivery process with all stakeholders.
  • Develops metrics, monitoring, and alerting to measure delivery process effectiveness.
  • Identifies bottlenecks and introduces optimizations.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Hands on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Experience optimizing Continuous Delivery pipelines, tools, and processes.
  • Hands on experience with Infrastructure-As-Code technologies, such as Terraform, Ansible or similar tools, and with public cloud providers such as Azure or AWS.
  • General knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Working ability in at least one scripting or development language (Bash, Python, C#, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of software industry concepts.
  • Focus on growing as an engineer, learning existing tools, resources and processes.
  • Capable of taking well-defined tasks and completing them.
  • Effective in communicating and collaborating within and across teams.
