Summary

Visa's Technology Organization seeks a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Service Hub or Customer Service Workspace). This role involves managing system requirements, design, development, integration, quality assurance, implementation, and maintenance of corporate applications. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver industry-leading solutions. Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements, and driving the selection of technology stacks and establishing foundational frameworks and patterns. You will also act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Portal Development, providing guidance to the team and stakeholders.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree
  • 6+ years' hands-on implementation experience in the Service Hub of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and Azure
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Good to have:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading a team of developers
  • Certifications related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Portal Development

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Service Hub or Customer Service Workspace) for our Client Services team. This role involves managing system requirements, design, development, integration, quality assurance, implementation, and maintenance of corporate applications. You will work closely with business owners of these services to deliver industry-leading solutions.

The Work itself: 

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of high-quality technical solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Platform, including portal development.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Drive the selection of technology stacks and establish foundational frameworks and patterns.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Portal Development, providing guidance to your team and stakeholders.

  • Ensure project deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system performance and scalability issues.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.

  • Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features, under minimal guidance.

  • Applies standard processes on the use of programming languages (e.g. HTML, C++, Java) to write code that fulfills website modification requests and technical requirements. 

  • Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features that enhance the user website experience across e-commerce products.

  • Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions.

**We do not expect that any single candidate would fulfill all of these characteristics. For instance, we have exciting team members who are really focused on building scalable systems but didn’t work with payments technology or web applications before joining Visa.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years' hands on implementation experience in the Service Hub of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of developers.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Certifications related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Portal Development.
