We're looking for an Staff Software Development Engineer to be part of our engineering Team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

Developing high-quality software that is performant, scalable, reusable, extensible, secure, supportable, reliable.
Developing and maintaining a scalable web and responsive applications.
Designing and implementing scalable, high-availability distributed systems using Kafka and Elasticsearch.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

7+ years of hands-on software application development experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, including working experience with Java and Spring frameworks such as Spring Webflux, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, etc.
Write microservices, develop and extend in-house APIs, write client-side code which interacts with other APIs (RESTful and SDKs).
Minimum 5 years of experience with distributed systems like Kafka and Elasticsearch, including containerization experience with applications deployed on Docker or Kubernetes.
Demonstrated Experience in Cloud Computing using AWS, GCP or other cloud providers.
Experience with NoSQL databases, messaging services and in-memory cache is a big advantage.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Exhibit DevOps mindset - Work on continuous integration, including provisioning, deployment, testing, and version control of the software.
Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems
Work with front-end engineers to understand user requirements and provide endpoints that help accomplish building appealing interfaces.
