The Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) at YouTube focuses on youth content, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for audiences globally, particularly in Brazil. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and fluency in English and Portuguese.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with children's content or educational programming.
  • Experience with the Brazilian media and entertainment industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute impactful plans to expand the reach and impact of YouTube Kids and youth-focused content creators across Brazil and internationally.
  • Cultivate relationships with a diverse portfolio of creators, providing support, resources, and guidance to help them thrive. Including developing business plans, driving adoption of platform tools, troubleshooting issues, analyzing performance to unlock growth, and negotiating content-partnership agreements.
  • Lead YouTube Kids programming initiatives in Brazil, collaborating with the global team to curate culturally relevant/engaging content that resonates with local audiences.
  • Work with teams across YouTube (Product, PR, Marketing, Legal) and Google (both locally and globally) to align strategies and maximize impact.
  • Identify and implement strategies to foster partner growth, enhance content-quality, increase audience engagement, and drive business within the youth content ecosystem.
