As an AVP - Business Management - Travel at Paytm, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing business plans to drive growth and increase market share. This involves analyzing market data, identifying trends and opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include creating forecasts, budgets, and presentations for senior management. You will monitor performance using KPIs, identify risks, and propose improvements to business strategies. The role also requires identifying and executing plans for new business growth areas, understanding regulatory landscapes, and ensuring compliance. This position demands strong strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

⦁Developing business plans: Using forecasts, market intelligence and data driven insights for creating and implementing business plans to drive growth and increase market share based on the business requirements;
⦁Analysing data and trends: Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats; developing and presenting business plans, budgets, forecasts, and scenarios to senior management and stakeholders;
⦁Co-ordinating cross-functional collaboration and communication among different departments to ensure strategic objectives are aligned and executed;
⦁Monitoring performance: Implementing and overseeing the execution of the business plans; tracking performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics; Evaluating the performance of business strategies including identifying issues and risks that may affect the business plans; proposing improvements and reviewing and updating the business plans as needed.
⦁Communicating: Preparing presentations to communicate strategies and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders
⦁Identify and drive the planning and execution of new areas for business growth including specific markets, new business lines, new channels etc
⦁Understanding evolution of regulatory landscape associated with the business line, and work closely with compliance teams and other associated teams to ensure we meet regulations

⦁Project management: The ability to plan and execute business plans within the given time, budget, and business objectives;
⦁Leadership: The ability to help peers and supervisors reach a common goal that supports a business' overall objectives
⦁Communication: The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with different audiences – senior management, internal and external stakeholders;
