Job description

Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher from Limassol, Cyprus. The company is focused on the 4X strategy genre with an ambitious goal to grow it’s hit game Total Battle to become the No.1 strategy game in the world. Our team consists of 150+ passionate, talented, self-demanding, and constantly developing professionals who love making high-quality games.

Our mission: We create games with a mission to unite and excite people all over the world.

We are looking for a System Administrator with the intention to learn and develop, enlisting the help and support of experienced colleagues.

Tasks to be solved:

Solve problems for employees, work with service desk.
Administer office OS (Linux, Windows, macOS). Ensure smooth daily operations.
Solve issues on the office network, VPN.
Administer general purpose services: Youtrack, Git, Gitlab, Teamcity, DNS, LDAP, Nginx and others.
Purchase and configuration of office equipment.
Assemble and upgrade workplaces, configure the OS and software.
Promptly respond to incidents, solve them, draw conclusions for the future (post-mortem).
Maintain the knowledge base in good condition.
Monitor the company services and infrastructure (we are using prometheus/grafana stack).

Job requirements

To work, you will need:

Good knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewall, DNS, VPN).
Linux console skills and experience writing bash shell scripts.
Experience in administration of Windows, Linux, Mac desktops.
Experience in administration of various general-purpose services.
Ability to diagnose problems in the local network and problems with the PC.
Good knowledge of the English Language.

A plus:

Experience with Docker, Ansible.
Experience in automating your work.
Basic knowledge of Python, Golang or another programming language.
Passion for games.

Our company was founded in 2015 in Cyprus with the initial goal of publishing and operating third-party games.

In 2016 we decided that we wanted to work with our own games instead of ready-made products. We were excited by the idea of being a full-cycle game development studio: to launch a game, gain initial traction, and then scale up the game globally and become a leader in the genre.

2017 saw the arrival of our first game, Total Battle. We discovered the game in its very early stages, and we believed in its great potential, so we made it our goal to focus on this single title and become the leader in the 4X strategy genre.

In 2021, we began to transform the company into a full-cycle game development studio, adding game developers, designers, and artists to our already existing publishing team, which consisted of our finance, legal, marketing, community, and support staff. We finished this process in 2022, and we now operate from our two offices in Limassol.
