Data analysis, trend identification, and content creation (videos, blog posts) are key. Experience with trade shows, online forums, and writing is highly valued. The role involves collaborating with Product, Regional Marketing, GTM, engineering, product management, and sales teams to develop compelling content and campaigns. This position also includes engaging with end-users, providing technical support, and creating internal training materials.

Job Description

General Purpose:

  • CORSAIR is currently looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to join our Global team. This role is highly technical in the gaming peripherals and requires a passion for and extensive knowledge of gaming devices and the industry in general. 
  • You will be the go-to expert on all things related to our gaming products and technical setups. You will be responsible for creating captivating marketing material, product demos (both online and offline), competition landscape and providing technical support and information to all relevant teams.
  • The ideal candidate will be a gaming enthusiast who has vast experience with peripherals and the game industry, and be able to explain, in depth, not only the function of each component or new tech, but also the individual features of a single product.
  • Knowledge of compiling and presenting data in both spreadsheet and presentable form is also a requirement. The candidate should be able to spot trends, positive as well as negative from collected data and suggest actions in forms of either informative videos, blog posts or product changes.
  • Trade show experience, online forum presence, and writing experience is heavily valued and candidates with experience in one or all of these categories will be given strong consideration.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Ability to provide technical insight, working with Product and Regional Marketing teams on their areas of expertise to generate professional discussions, content and initiatives. 
  • Plan and develop specific communication content including, technical articles, how-to-videos, newsletters, E-commerce and channel content ...etc.
  • Ability to work with GTM team to support new product introduction. As well as to generate campaign content targeting keyboard, mice and other gaming peripherals to compete with market leaders. 
  • Engage with end users via social platforms/tech forums and collect data on trending issues and help guiding end-users towards solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales teams to create compelling content and campaigns that effectively highlights the benefits and features of our products.
  • Stay up-to-date with shifting industry trends, client demographics and expectations, and key stakeholders' requirements.
  • Provide easy to digest reports detailing findings and suggestions during product testing.
  • Provide support to the marketing team with any ad hoc requests, such as setting up new software or equipment or giving advice on how to best show off our products.
  • Travel to events and tradeshows (as needed) to support the marketing team with technical expertise and product setup/demonstrations.
  • Assist with educating our in-house sales and marketing staff on upcoming products, producing training program assets for our internal system and ensuring our staff have the technical knowledge necessary to effectively promote and sell our products.

Essential Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will have a Technical/Marketing qualification, be a self-starter, motivated, reliable and be able to work by themselves as well as a positive and can-do attitude.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of gaming market, media and industry partners, and such. 
  • Fluency in English is a requirement, with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • 3-5 years of experiences in IT company is a plus. 
  • Be a local candidate in Taipei area, no relocation available.
