Job Description

As the Technical Product Manager, you will join a small, fully remote team and work on the NFT marketplace. This role involves managing the product roadmap, sprint planning, feature planning, and UX. Responsibilities include overseeing systems for 24/7 uptime and platform reliability, maintaining and growing the development team, and assisting in the planning and implementation of new platform features. You will be responsible for clarifying requirements, resolving conflicts, defining the roadmap and driving progress.
Must have:
  • Experience leading multi-department teams.
  • Skilled at translating between business and technical teams.
  • Ability to evaluate complex engineering and analytic issues.
  • Extensive experience with e-commerce infrastructure.
  • Experience with Node.js applications.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must love games!
Good to have:
  • Experience with Game Development.
  • Front-end design experience.
  • Experience with react.
  • Experience with REST APIs in node/typescript.
  • Experience with AWS and Docker.
  • Experience with SQL database and design.
  • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with C++ development.

THE MISSION As the Technical Product Manager, you will join a small, fully remote team and work on our NFT marketplace. This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for managing and driving the Open Loot product road map, sprint planning, feature planning, and UX
    • Oversee systems and personnel to ensure 24/7 uptime, and 100% platform reliability and security 
    • Maintain and grow development team, work with recruiting to maintain candidate pipeline, assist screening & interview candidates
    • Aid in planning, organizing and implementing new platform features

REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience leading multi-department teams: clarifying requirements, resolving conflicts, defining roadmap and driving progress.
    • Skilled at translating between business and technical teams.
    • Ability to provide in-depth evaluations of complex engineering and analytic issues
    • Extensive experience with ecommerce infrastructure and deployment practices
    • Experience with production Node.js applications
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Must love games!

DESIRABLE

    • Experience with Game Development
    • Front-end design experience
    • Experience with react
    • Experience creating and maintaining REST APIs in node/typescript
    • Experience with AWS and Docker
    • Experience with SQL database, database design, as well as NoSQL database paradigms
    • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
    • Some familiarity with C++ development
