Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in hardware engineering, software engineering, or computer hardware.
- 5 years of experience with Infrastructure as a Service.
- 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, and managing programs through the concept, planning, development, launch, and sustaining stages.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team, spanning all organizational levels and functional areas to develop and deliver programs from inception to production.
- Orchestrate the overall program strategy and drive end-to-end execution across cross functional teams.
- Set the direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and supervising multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
- Manage multiple cross-functional programs simultaneously with competing priorities. Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes.
- Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus. Manage escalations and unblock obstacles, ensure all leadership/stakeholders are aware of progress/blockers on a continuous basis.
