Job Description

The Brand Designer will be responsible for creating compelling branded assets for both web and print, ensuring visual consistency across all communications. They will partner with the Communications Team to translate messaging strategies into visual narratives, collaborate with the Brand Team to refine the design system, and work with cross-functional partners to clarify project needs and deliver impactful visual solutions. The role also involves advocating for brand standards and prioritizing projects effectively in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will design for a variety of applications including trade show booths, printed marketing materials, and digital advertising. The role is with a small yet mighty team of 6 people.

Must have:

5+ years of brand design experience
Portfolio of brand design work demonstrating strong use of hierarchy, color, and form
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to leverage sketching skills to ideate quickly
Interest in AI

Good to have:

Experience working at a fast-faced startup
Illustration ability
Motion graphics experience
Web design experience

About the Team:

The Scale Interactive Brand Studio is a small yet mighty team (6 people full-time) responsible for the design and development of scale.com and the creation of original content (illustrations, icons, logos, and graphs). We design for a variety of applications including trade show booths, printed marketing materials, and digital advertising. We aim to keep the quality bar high as we grow. This is an exciting opportunity to help evolve Scale's brand.

What You'll Do:

Design with Purpose: Craft compelling branded assets for both web and print, ensuring visual consistency across all external and internal communications.
Strategize with Comms: Partner closely with the Communications Team to translate messaging strategies into cohesive visual narratives that support storytelling, campaigns, and content initiatives.
Evolve the Brand: Collaborate with the Brand Team to grow and refine our design system, ensuring it supports cross-functional communication goals.
Align and Execute: Work with cross-functional partners—especially Communications, Marketing, Office, and Sales—to clarify project needs and deliver impactful visual solutions.
Champion the Brand: Advocate for consistent and intentional application of brand standards across all touchpoints, especially where communication and design intersect.
Navigate Fast Timelines: Prioritize projects effectively and deliver high-quality design work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ideally You'll Hhave:

5+ years of brand design experience
