The internship assignment

The Building and Infrastructure team within the Technical Services Department at Gigafactory Berlin is dedicated to maintaining and optimizing essential utility systems, including wastewater, rainwater, and domestic water. This collaborative team works with various departments, such as EHS and Waste Management, to ensure compliance, efficiency, and high performance across critical systems. Focused on proactive maintenance and continuous improvement, the team fosters a culture of innovation and operational excellence. As an intern, you will support these efforts by assisting with system inspections, maintenance planning, and collaborative projects that enhance efficiency and sustainability.

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining wastewater, rainwater, domestic water, and greywater systems.
• Support the development and execution of maintenance plans and operational procedures for water systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Waste Management, and the Permitting team, to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Help gather data and prepare reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and compliance status.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving system efficiency, reliability, and environmental performance.
• Learn to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other technical drawings related to water systems.
