Job Description

As an Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales at Google Customer Solutions, you'll be responsible for driving business growth by building relationships with medium and large businesses. You will be tasked with understanding their growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans for achievement. You will also be responsible for pitching and consulting with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets, delivering outstanding customer sales experience, and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. You will need to establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch to support client relationship management.
  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
Good to have:
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and promoting.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Netherlands and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Excellent thought leadership skills and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
