This Account Manager role focuses on driving growth for Google's large consumer and technology clients in the Nordics region. Responsibilities include achieving quarterly business goals, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and managing a portfolio of large accounts. This entails understanding client growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and developing multi-quarter plans. The role involves pitching, consulting, and managing internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills with a proven track record in digital advertising sales. Proficiency in a Nordic language and English is essential. The role involves understanding client marketing objectives and developing effective marketing strategies utilizing Google's broad range of products. Consistent overachievement of quotas is expected.
Must have:

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in one of the Nordics languages and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and competitive selling.
  • Experience with online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance and brand marketing.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Own a portfolio of large businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying constant opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Manage stakeholder management internally and externally, and build relationships with the end customers.
