Job Description

This Account Strategist role within Google Customer Solutions focuses on the Danish market's mid-market sales. Responsibilities involve consulting with advertising companies, identifying optimal advertising solutions, and driving customer growth using Google's products. You'll own a portfolio of medium and large businesses, developing long-term relationships, understanding their growth drivers, and creating multi-quarter plans. The role requires proactive pitching, managing annual digital marketing discussions, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and achieving customer business objectives. Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills are essential. The Mid-Market Sales team is a key growth engine for Google, focusing on medium and large, fast-growing businesses in Denmark.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent Danish & English
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Achieve ambitious growth targets
  • Manage client portfolio effectively

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Danish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and competitive selling
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics; expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Denmark, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth

Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.

The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for clients in GCS designed to grow medium and large-sized fast growing businesses in Denmark. Through long-term relationship development, we’re dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth targets.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large-size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Provide stakeholder management, and build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
