Job Description

Xsolla seeks an experienced Art Director for a one-year maternity cover contract. The role involves leading the design of innovative and emotionally engaging experiences for B2C products in e-commerce and fintech. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing designs across various mediums (landing pages, mobile apps, web platforms), enhancing user engagement through gamification, and providing art direction to align product ecosystems. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication design skills, experience in B2C, e-commerce, or fintech, and a portfolio showcasing emotional design and user-centric projects. Team management and mentoring are also key aspects of the position. The role requires collaboration with product designers, content designers, product managers, and developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Concept, design and execute innovative experiences across key mediums - landing pages, mobile apps, web platforms.
Enhance user engagement through gamification mechanics, illustration, interactive design and visual storytelling.
Provide Art Direction to Align product ecosystems using design systems and asset libraries.
Partner with product designers, content designers, product managers, developers to create customer-focused solutions.
Guide and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in art direction, preferably within B2C, e-commerce, or fintech industries.
Strong portfolio showcasing emotional design, visual storytelling, and user-centric projects.
Excellent understanding of emotional design principles, user experience, and visual storytelling.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
