Job Description
This is a dual apprenticeship/practical oriented dual study program in Mechanical Engineering in Prüm, starting August 1st, 2025. It offers a 3.5-year or 4.5-year option. The 3.5-year option involves studies at DHBW Mannheim/Hochschule Trier from year one. The 4.5-year option includes an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (first year in Prüm, then Hochschule Trier) or technical product designer (first year at BBS Trier, then Hochschule Trier). The program includes mechanical design using CAD, creating technical drawings and documentation, practical work, assisting with commissioning production plants, and insights into project and quality management. Strong integration into current projects and assembly teams is emphasized.

Ausbildungsinhalte:
- Mechanische Konstruktion von Bauteilen und Baugruppen mit CAD sowie Anfertigung von technischen Zeichnungen und Dokumentationen
- Praxisarbeiten in eigenständiger Bearbeitung neben Konstruktionsprojekten im Team
- Unterstützung bei der Inbetriebnahme von Produktionsanlagen
- Einblicke in das Projekt – und Qualitätsmanagement
- Mindestens Abitur mit guten Noten in Physik, Mathe und Englisch
- Technisch - physikalisches Interesse und Grundverständnis sowie räumliches Vorstellungsvermögen
- Freude beim Lösen praktisch - technischer Probleme
- Exakte Arbeitsweise und Zuverlässigkeit
- Strukturiertes, eigenverantwortliches Vorgehen kombiniert mit Anpassungsfähigkeit, Durchhaltevermögen und Teamgeist
