Job Description

As an Assistant Product Manager Intern at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, you will be part of the Marketing department, contributing to marketing strategies for games like Tekken and Ace Combat. You'll coordinate with internal teams (Social Media, PR, Digital Sales) and external agencies, as well as headquarters in Japan and the US. Responsibilities include executing EMEA marketing plans, coordinating communication campaigns, collaborating with international marketing teams, supporting Product Managers with marketing assets, and analyzing game performance. This internship offers a chance to work in a dynamic international environment within the gaming industry.
Must have:
  • Currently pursuing a Marketing/Product Management degree.
  • Passionate about the video gaming industry and trends.
  • Interest in Manga, Japanese animation, and pop culture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Humility and desire to learn.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Position

Within our EMEA headquarters, you will join the Marketing department in charge of anime titles such as Tekken, Ace Combat, Tales Of and many more. Under the supervision of our EMEA Product Managers, you will contribute to the creation of the marketing strategies of our games as part of their launch, in coordination with our companies located in Japan and the US.


You will collaborate with internal teams such as the Social Media team, PR team, Digital Sales team, etc., as well as our other headquarters located in Japan and US, along with our external creative agencies.


You will participate to the following missions:


  • Ensure the proper execution of all EMEA marketing plans, under the supervision of the Product Managers
  • Coordinate with the various departments (Press Relations, Digital, Community Management, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of the communication campaign
  • Collaborate with marketing team from different cultures and backgrounds at European and Worldwide level to synchronize the launch of a product.
  • Support the Product Manager in the creation and management of marketing/promotional assets
  • Follow and analyse the performance of our games in terms of sales and various other KPIs

Requirements

  • Currently preparing a Bac + 4 / + 5 degree with a specialty Marketing / Product Management
  • Passionate about the video gaming industry and knowledgeable about the latest trends / games in the industry
  • Interest for Manga, Japanese animation and Japanese pop culture
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in the Office package (Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • High attention to detail
  • Humility and desire to learn
  • Able to prioritize and work on different projects at the same time
  • Able to work in a timely manner and meet deadlines for the various projects
  • Willing to work in a team and be part of an international, young and dynamic environment

Additional information


Location: 15 rue Félix Mangini, 69009 LYON (this position is not eligible to full-remote working)

Contract: full-time internship for 6 months (no work-study program)

Start date: August 2025

Remuneration: dependent on degree level (from €1,000 up to €1,200 per month)
