Job Description

Dark Burn Creative seeks a motivated Associate Producer to lead the creation of immersive gameplay trailers. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining production schedules, building relationships, tracking budgets and schedules, communicating with various teams, tracking creative notes, receiving and propagating assets, proactively monitoring project status, and working with the finishing team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a Production Coordinator role, experience in video game marketing is a plus, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. This is an on-site position in Woodland Hills, CA.

We are currently seeking an Associate Producer to assist in our video game play capture projects. Please note this position requires on-site/in-office work in Woodland Hills, California. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Create and maintain production schedules, anticipating future needs.
  • Follow standard practices and procedures when assisting the producer.
  • Build stable working relationships internally and externally.
  • Understand the complexity of tracking budgets and schedules.
  • Communicate regularly with creative directors, producers, editors, capture directors, and finishing managers on the status of all jobs in progress in creative / production-based on input from project teams.
  • Tracking creative notes and changes.
  • Receive and propagate client-provided assets.
  • Proactively monitor the status of active projects; can act swiftly and re-direct resources as needed.
  • Works closely with the finishing team to ensure a smooth transition from creative to final product for each project.
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter with previous post-production (marketing) experience, experience in video game marketing a plus.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 2+ years in a Production Coordinator role is a must
  • Creative Vendor or studio experience preferred
  • Ability to articulate clear feedback (written and verbal) and ask the right questions for context in feedback.
  • Open & honest proactive approach in communication with the ability to ask difficult questions.
  • Ability to communicate and drive conversations with people at all levels.
  • Strong listening skills
