Our tooling solutions deliver the lowest cost per hole in a wide range of applications. </p><p></p><p>Permanent Hours: 5:00am - 5:00pm - Crew C </p><p>Training Hours: 5:00pm - 5:00am - Crew D </p><p>Schedule: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days - working every other weekend</p><p>Location: 120 Deeds Dr. Dover, OH 44622</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> </p><p>The Set-Up Finish Walter Grinders – Special Product will ensure high-quality production while collaborating with cross-functional teams and meeting customer demand. </p><p></p><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Set up and operate various grinding machines for special/prototype products using blueprints and existing software.</li> <li>Configure and operate additional machines such as Wendt Haas and Water jet.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.</li> <li>Access and follow online work instructions.</li> <li>Maintain high-quality standards, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve machine and programming issues.</li> <li>Develop, test, and implement new wheel stacks and programs for production runs.</li> <li>Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for quality-related issues.</li> <li>Follow inspection plans and use precision tools for quality control.</li> <li>Interpret and understand blueprints.</li> <li>Plan and adjust production on machines to meet order quotas and customer demand.</li> <li>Manage true wheel stacks offline.</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li> </ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p></div></section><section aria-labelledby="job-requirements-title" class="styles--3vx-H" data-ui="job-requirements"><h2 id="job-requirements-title">Requirements</h2><div><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.</li> <li>Organized with attention to detail. </li> <li>Strong time management skills. </li> <li>Ability to multitask. </li> <li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. </li> <li>Advanced ability to read and understand blueprints. </li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p><ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>1 year of experience with Set-Up Walter Finish Grind Standard Product. </li> <li>Enrollment in or completion of a related apprenticeship program preferred. </li> <li>Experience with measuring equipment, micrometers, calipers, contracers, comparators, and manual cameras preferred. </li> <li>Experience with offline truing preferred.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 32 pounds unassisted.</li> <li>Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts. </li> </ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p></div></section><section aria-labelledby="job-benefits-title" class="styles--3vx-H" data-ui="job-benefits"><h2 id="job-benefits-title">Benefits</h2><div><ul> <li>Competitive wages and increases</li> <li>Paid time off that begins to accrue immediately</li> <li>Paid holidays</li> <li>Healthcare, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>Clean, safe working conditions</li> <li>Climate controlled (72° year-round)</li> <li>Bonus incentive program</li> <li>401k Plan with a generous company match</li> <li>Apprenticeship program</li> <li>Tuition assistance program</li> </ul></div></section>
