Job Summary

Job Description

As a Senior Level Designer at Signal Space Lab, you will be responsible for the design of game levels using the Unity game engine, ensuring levels are fun, challenging, and aligned with the game's vision. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing objectives, side quests, engaging scenarios, and in-world events. You'll collaborate closely with the art team to maintain visual consistency and level design quality, and iterate on levels based on internal testing, user feedback and playtesting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in level design, ideally with experience in 3D solo action games. Proficiency in Unity, ProBuilder and other Unity tools is essential.

Description du poste

  • vre la conception des niveaux à l'aide du moteur de jeu Unity, en veillant à ce que les niveaux soient amusants, stimulants et alignés sur la vision du jeu.

  • Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des objectifs, des quêtes secondaires, des scénarios amusants et des événements dans le monde du jeu.

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe artistique pour assurer la cohérence visuelle et la qualité de la conception des niveaux.

  • Tester et retravailler les niveaux en fonction des commentaires, des tests internes et des retours d'expérience des utilisateurs.

Qualifications

  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en conception de niveaux, idéalement avec une certaine connaissance des jeux d'action solo en 3D.

  • Maîtrise du moteur de jeu Unity, de ProBuilder et d'autres outils Unity.

  • Solide compréhension des mécanismes de jeu, du déroulement des niveaux et de la psychologie des joueurs.

  • Excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes et capacité de penser de manière créative et critique.

  • Solides compétences en communication et en collaboration, avec la capacité de travailler efficacement en équipe.

  • Passion pour le jeu et compréhension approfondie des tendances actuelles de l’industrie du jeu vidéo.

  • Un bon sens de l'humour
