We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join Insider and support our Revenue Operations team as a Deal Desk Analyst, specifically focusing on our messaging and WhatsApp products. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving profits, optimizing deal execution, and managing vendor negotiations.
You will be responsible for pricing checks, negotiating special pricing with vendors, and collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure smooth deal execution. Your expertise in vendor management and pricing will be vital for the success of the messaging and WhatsApp product lines.
Additionally, you will drive process enhancements and ensure that our pricing and deal structuring align with the company’s overall goals. Your negotiation skills will help maintain a seamless process from quoting to deal closure, while ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Negotiation and Pricing Management:
Lead pricing checks and negotiate special pricing with SMS and WhatsApp vendors.
Secure competitive pricing from vendors, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
Work closely with the sales team to collaborate on pricing, deal structuring, and contract terms.
Manage vendor relationships to maintain favorable terms and high service levels.
Deal Execution and Rev Ops Collaboration:
Support the Revenue Operations team in driving profitability and optimizing deal execution.
Ensure compliance with internal booking policies and external regulations during deal structuring.
Collaborate with sales teams and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth deal execution.
Assist in onboarding new sales reps and providing training on quoting tools and CRM systems.
Operational Efficiency and Process Enhancements:
Implement and manage dashboards or reporting tools to monitor deal performance, pricing efficiency, and vendor relationships.
Drive process improvements that enhance the team’s scalability and efficiency.
Monitor key metrics related to pricing performance, deal closure rates, and vendor management.
Market & Trend Analysis:
Analyze market trends to ensure that pricing remains competitive across different regions.
Provide insights on SMS and WhatsApp pricing dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
Stay up to date on industry benchmarks to ensure Insider maintains its competitive edge.
Qualifications:
2-8 years of experience in deal desk operations, pricing, or related areas.
Strong negotiation and people skills with a proven track record of vendor management.
Familiarity with CRM systems and quoting tools.
Experience with messaging and WhatsApp products is a plus
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing tight deadlines.
