End Point Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to key tasks and alerts associated with maintaining Endpoint security tools to maintain tools at highest function.
• Follows standard procedures while providing feedback to manager for areas of improvement.
• Identify new areas of opportunity consistent with security standards
• Interact through ticketing systems to respond to end user and peer requests for assistance.
• Ability to apply knowledge and problem-solving tasks for security tools within purview of role.
• Takes direction from Manager while working closely with peers within work group.
• Deliver clear and meaningful reports, presentations, metrics, and other materials for a range of audiences
  
  

Required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related degree and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
• Experience assisting in the deployment, configuration, operation, and monitoring of tools ensuring complete coverage and functionality of Endpoint security tools.
• Strong understanding of the tools and concepts relating to Security Operations; SIEM, EDR, DLP, NAC, etc.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams, both technical and non-technical.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Proactive continuous improvement approach to product implementations and processes.
  
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with regulatory controls and industry best practice frameworks such as HIPAA, ISO27001/2, PCI DSS, NIST, CISA, etc.
• Security+, CISA, or GIAC certifications are a plus.
• HITRUST knowledge and experience.
