The Environment Artist will collaborate with the retail production team, leads, and fellow artists to design captivating environments for the mobile game Avakin Life. Responsibilities include modeling, texturing, lighting, and setting up each scene from start to finish. The artist will also create documents for outsourcing and provide detailed feedback to external artists. Requirements include a strong understanding of low-poly environment creation, proficiency in Unity 3D, and excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop, Maya, Modo, or 3DS Max, with strong modeling, lighting, and texturing abilities. The ability to meet memory targets is also essential.
Good To Have:- Experience with SVN and Perforce.
- Experience, or a keen interest in, architecture and level design.
- Experience working on a social or mobile game.
Must Have:- Solid understanding of low poly environment creation processes.
- Experienced in using Unity 3d.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Maya, Modo, or 3DS Max.
- Excellent modelling, lighting, and texturing skillset.
- Ability to hit memory targets.
