Job Description

This Field Sales Representative role at Google Cloud focuses on growing Google Cloud's presence within the enterprise account customer segment in the public sector. You will cultivate executive-level relationships, align cloud offerings with customer needs, and drive consistent new business growth. Responsibilities include leading territory account planning, managing sales processes, building executive relationships, influencing strategic direction, presenting to corporate executives, promoting growth strategies with Google's partner ecosystem, and scaling partnerships to deliver innovative solutions. The role requires significant experience in software sales, account management, and working with public sector clients. Success will hinge on your ability to understand customer needs, develop compelling business cases, manage complex projects with partners, and navigate commercial and legal aspects of large enterprise agreements.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 years B2B enterprise software sales & account management
  • Experience presenting to executive-level audiences
  • Lead territory account planning & drive new business growth
  • Build and manage executive-level customer relationships
Good to have:
  • Experience with infrastructure software, databases, analytics
  • Experience managing partners on implementation projects
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in software sales and account management at an enterprise B2B software company.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software and exceeding goals.
  • Experience working with and presenting to executive-level audiences.
  • Experience working with and managing partners on implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.

In this role, you will help grow Google Cloud across the enterprise account customer segment. You will build executive-level relationships, and align our cloud offerings to customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a territory account planning process that aligns partner and Google resources to cultivate business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive consistent new business growth by managing the process.
  • Build executive relationships with customers, and utilize existing executive relationships to help create growth into new organizations. Influence term direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Discuss and manage complete processes, often presenting to executives in corporate customers.
  • Promote a growth strategy with Google’s partner ecosystem. Scale with partners that deliver innovative solutions to drive new value in the market.
