Job Description

The Financial Controlling and Budgeting Specialist will be responsible for preparing financial calculations and analyses, drafting reports for the Management Board, analyzing profitability, participating in budget preparation, drafting Management Board reports, calculating accounting estimates (including impairment tests and valuations), monitoring settlement accuracy, and collaborating with the IR agency on performance presentations. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in financial and management accounting principles, and excellent self-organization skills. Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets, and knowledge of VBA or Google Apps Script is highly desirable. A minimum of two to three years of experience in a financial department (controlling, audit, or accounting) is required, along with a higher education in accounting/controlling/finance.

Must have:

2-3 years experience in finance
Accounting/finance degree
Financial & management accounting knowledge
Strong analytical & communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets

Good to have:

VBA/Google Apps Script knowledge
ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or Certified Auditor certification
Interest in new technologies

Good knowledge of financial and management accounting principles and their practical application

Practical knowledge of management and financial accounting

ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or Certified Auditor certification (or in the process of obtaining) will be an additional advantage.

your responsibilities

Preparing financial calculations and analyses as well as drafting reports and summaries for the company's Management Board
Analyzing profitability by products/company departments
Participating in the process of preparing budgets for Group Capital companies and individual company departments
Drafting the Management Board Report on Operations and preparing performance presentations in collaboration with the IR agency
Calculating accounting estimates, including impairment tests for assets, valuation of incentive plans, and fair value adjustments for balance sheet items
Monitoring the accuracy of settlements between Group companies and external entities
