Currently, a team of 15+ specialists is working on a mobile Idle RPG that is still in the early stages of development. We’re looking for an experienced Game Designer with hands-on knowledge of free-to-play games, who will be breaking down game titles to understand every mechanic and monetization angle.
In this role, you’ll research and analyze competitor games, then adapt the best features to our own project. We rely heavily on data, spreadsheets, and AI-driven prototypes, so being comfortable with numbers and technical tools is a must.
Researching competitor F2P mobile games to identify best practices in economy and LiveOps
Adapting competitor features to fit our game, documenting logic, flows, and balance parameters
Using tools like Excel, AI prototypes, Miro, and simulations to test, refine, and present design concepts
Creating and maintaining GDDs, specs, balance files, and other design documentation
Collaborating closely with developers and artists to ensure successful feature implementation
Creating requirements for statistical tools, simulations, and other analysis methods, using them to validate and optimize game balance
At least 4 years of experience as a Game Designer
Proven experience in economy and feature balancing
Familiarity with spreadsheets and data analysis (SQL/Python knowledge is a plus)
Experience with LiveOps and F2P monetization strategies
Passion for researching, iterating, and improving design ideas based on competitor analysis
Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration and feature pitching
English language skills at the Upper Intermediate level or higher
