Game Programmer

Job Description

As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for programming game mechanisms in the Unity engine. You will actively participate in the game production process, writing clean code according to established standards and creating technical documentation. You will also be involved in the design and programming of new code, collaborating closely with QA and design teams. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of skills within the team, mentor less experienced members, and maintain the technical condition of projects. The role requires a strong command of English, both spoken and written.

Must Have:
  • 3+ years experience in similar position or portfolio.
  • Experience in managing a project from start to release.
  • Active participation in defining programming standards.
  • Ability to maintain code cleanliness and structure.
  • Ability to debug and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to write code consistent with game architecture.
  • Knowledge of project optimization methods.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to estimate work time (punctuality and efficiency).
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to create tools.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Very good knowledge of C# and Unity.
  • Knowledge of popular/useful Unity extensions.
  • Knowledge of basic and extended Unity modules.
  • Familiarity with various platforms (iOS/Android, consoles, PC, web).
  • Knowledge of design patterns.
  • Interest in current changes in the engine.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position in a commercial project or experience in implementing own projects supported by a portfolio

  • Experience in managing a project from start to release and in planning its further development and maintenance, as well as managing a small programming team

  • Active participation in defining programming standards and team working principles

  • Ability to maintain code cleanliness and structure according to standards

  • Ability to debug and solve complex problems

  • Ability to write code consistent with game architecture

  • Knowledge of project optimization methods
