Job Description

The Global Analytical Lead at Google's Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) helps global customers achieve success through measurement, analytics, and insights. Leveraging expertise in Google advertising products and marketing solutions, this role involves understanding client needs, improving measurement capabilities, executing measurement projects, and using data to enhance media effectiveness. Responsibilities include providing strategic consulting, developing analytical models, collaborating with sales teams, building client relationships, and presenting compelling data-driven stories to diverse audiences. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques, and excellent communication abilities.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in measurement and attribution.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc.).
  • 1 year of experience in client-facing roles, influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

As an Analytical Lead, you will help global customers to achieve excellent outcomes through measurement, analytics, and insights. Leveraging knowledge of Google advertising products, marketing and measurement solutions, and individual client needs, you will demonstrate the benefit of investment with Google. You will be responsible for discovering clients’ measurement setup and gaps, developing a roadmap to improve their measurement capabilities, executing first- and third-party measurement projects, and leveraging measurement recommendations to improve media effectiveness.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on clients'/partners' strategy in the areas of sales, marketing, and/or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions and/or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own analytical modeling for key client/partner projects, apply and/or customize analytical tools (e.g. dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and maximize the use and effectiveness of Google products.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct in-depth analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/analytical stakeholders on the client’s/partner’s side.
