We are looking for a candidate to join the Graphics Architecture Simulator development team to build a performance/functional simulator for Xe Graphics. This role involves designing, coding, validating, and performing performance analysis on the GPU simulator, with close collaboration with GPU architects, micro architects, RTL, and software development teams. The position offers an opportunity to impact emerging application areas like AI, Machine learning, Media servers, and Augmented/Virtual reality, by contributing to the development of a critical tool for architecture exploration and providing a reference model for validation and early software stack development of the GPU.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, CE, or related field.
  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Software modeling for CPU/GPU architectures.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
  • Knowledge of GPU programming models and APIs (OpenCL, CUDA, DirectX, Vulkan).
  • Understanding of memory architecture principles and design.

Job Description: 

We are looking for candidate to join the Graphics Architecture Simulator development team to work on building a performance/functional simulator for Xe Graphics(the largest IP in any intel SOC). Performance and Functional simulation is a critical tool for architecture exploration and providing a reference model for validation and early development of software stack of the GPU. In this position, you will be responsible for design, coding, validation and performance analysis on the GPU simulator. The job will involve tight engagements with GPU architects, micro architects, RTL and software development teams. As GPU use-models expand into new areas of AI/Deep Learning, Machine learning, Media servers, Augmented/ Virtual reality, etc - this position offers unique opportunity to impact these emerging application areas.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of industry experience in:

  • Software modeling for CPU/GPU architectures.
  • Programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • GPU programming models and APIs, such as OpenCL, CUDA, DirectX, or Vulkan.
  • Memory architecture principles and design



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Memory architecture, Performance tuning, Memory performance modelling, Simulator development with C++, Memory modelling, Cache modelling, C++ programming
