Job Description

This role focuses on managing and optimizing employee deployment within PwC. Responsibilities include assessing demand and capacity, determining personnel requirements based on staffing rules and regulatory compliance, and collaborating with multiple teams. The Deployment Associate will review staffing requests, ensure quality guidelines and compliance checks are met, manage employee schedules using Day Shape, minimize staffing gaps, and optimize staffing during busy periods. Data analysis and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) are also crucial. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, experience in resource deployment/workforce management, and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Description:

We are looking for go-getters who can work in a team to provide the best possible staffing solutions for our extremely dynamic business model.

The candidate will be responsible to assess the ongoing demand and capacity, determine personnel requirements based on staffing rules and regulatory compliance guidelines and collaborating on Resource Deployment with multiple teams within our organization.

As a Deployment Associate, you will be responsible and accountable to meet Resource Deployment KPIs for the assigned Business Unit, Operating Unit, Industry/Sector, Territory or Market alignment. You will assess the staffing request received through our in-house demand intake system, evaluate the available scheduling options, perform compliance checks and assign “best-fit” professionals to fulfil the request within the applicable amount of time. You will also ensure that the productivity of the business professionals is optimized through balanced staffing solutions.

To ensure success as a Deployment Associate, you will be trained on our staffing tools, deployment process and guidelines to empower you with the necessary process knowledge in Resource Deployment, demand – supply planning, schedule management, bench management, deployment, resource allocation and business analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review staffing demand requests and generate capacity to enable effective staffing on projects based on the scope of work, skills, prior experience, and employee availability.

• Ensure that all quality guidelines are met and compliance checks are performed during the identification and assignment of a professional on an engagement.

• Manage the schedules of business professionals through timely update of bookings in the schedule management platform (Day Shape) to ensure accurate projections of employee productivity and availability.

• Monitor schedule adherence, address schedule changes and resolve staffing conflicts.

• Minimize staffing gaps, reduce non billable time and optimize staffing during busy periods.

• Analyze and execute staffing solutions to meet unplanned demands.

• Publish effective reports and dashboards to monitor, analyze and report against key KPIs.

• Demonstrate success against all business, operational and people management KPIs.

Key Skills and Experiences:

• Any Graduate.

• 0 – 2 years of relevant, post qualification work experience in reputed organizations with a proven track record of career growth and stability. Freshers from reputed colleges, that display the required aptitude, confidence, appetite for data and strong inter-personal communication skills can also be considered for this role.

• Proficiency in Resource Deployment/workforce management domain.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent negotiation skills.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a proven record of working under tight deadlines.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
