As a Lead Quality Engineer you will join a global FX engineering team who develops, maintains and quality controls an end-to-end FX trading solution called FXall - one of the biggest FX relationship trading platforms in the world.

FXall streamlines pre- through post-trade process, complete trades efficiently, access hundreds of liquidity providers, and get full trade decision support and post-trade functionality - including confirmations, settlement instructions, and trade performance reporting. FXall supports multiple regulated venues in one platform enabling asset managers, hedge funds and corporates to confidently align with Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, and other global/regional regulations.

Your Role

  • Lead a team of high calibre Quality Engineers who own manual testing regression and test automation of functional roadmap.
  • Work with Software Engineering teams to design test cases and to implement automated test suites.
  • Work with upstream and downstream development teams to implement functionality with quality at source.
  • Responsible for technical implementation of quality control, testing and analysis, providing mentorship where issues arise.
  • Leads a wide range of quality control planning and execution activities in alignment with the organisation's standards and strategy to ensure that software meets the specified business and customer needs.
  • Promote a culture of partnership, high performance and, ensuring standards and industry practices are followed via agile scrum methodologies.
  • Communicate with clarity, precision, and influence, communicating complex information in a clear and concise format.

Required education/expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/IT/Computer Science (or equivalent) from a recognised university
  • Expertise in JAVA (C# or Python is a benefit)
  • 8+ years of work experience in a reputed engineering organisation, involved in quality control for large scale technology transformation programs preferably in financial market infrastructure space.
  • Strong leadership skills, analytical skills and problem-solving mentality.
  • Strong experience in CI/CD tools, automation processes, software quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in financial markets domain (exposure to FX trading is a plus).
