As a Level Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating intuitive, exciting, and replayable levels that support the game’s mechanics, progression, and player engagement goals. In addition to level design, you’ll also contribute to game design elements including gameplay balancing, feature design, and player feedback analysis.
Design, prototype, and implement high-quality levels tailored for mobile gaming audiences.
Balance difficulty and pacing to support player progression and retention.
Use internal tools and engines (like Unity) to build and iterate levels.
Conduct playtests and analyze player behavior to improve level design.
Collaborate closely with artists and developers to ensure levels are visually appealing and functionally sound.
Assist the Game Designer in developing new game features and mechanics.
Help define and balance in-game economy, power-ups, and gameplay loops.
Contribute to GDDs (Game Design Documents), wireframes, and gameplay flowcharts.
Offer design insights during feature planning and review cycles.
Analyze game KPIs and player feedback for continuous improvements.
1–2 years of experience in Level Design or Game Design, preferably in mobile games.
A strong portfolio of playable levels or shipped titles.
Experience with Unity or similar engines.
Familiarity with F2P game systems and mobile gameplay trends.
Good understanding of game loops, progression, and difficulty scaling.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of game balancing and monetization strategies.
Understanding of player psychology and behavioral data.
Ability to work with spreadsheets and GDD tools.
Exposure to LiveOps or analytics-driven design.
