As a Live Services Producer at Oculus, you will facilitate content production by working with our Studios (including Sanzaru, Armature, Supernatural, Twisted Pixel, Camouflaj, Beat Games) to take data, design input and other data to create actionable insights to improve products that are deployed live. You will work to shape the overall strategy of Oculus Studios, interface with the production teams and leadership at the Studios org to set goals, provide real-time feedback on products and services, and work to create the best user experiences for our consumers.
Live Services Producer (PM) - Oculus Studios Responsibilities
Work with the teams project schedules and manage calendars for highly specialized creative workers, including both internal creative teams and external partners.
Work with your team to create Business Continuity via Management Business briefings.
Manage external vendor relationships with Research and Data Partners.
Partner with Project Management to ensure projects are accurately scoped, clearly defined, and meet timing and budget expectations.
Maintain consistent communication with all team members and relevant stakeholders.
Work in collaboration with the creative team, as someone who celebrates wins, shares successes and impact cross-functionally, and recognizes the contributions of others with the intent of fostering successful collaboration.
Maintaining best practices documentation & consistently improving workflows
Track the usage rights for music, videos, and other licensed IP
Push on innovation within formats to create breakthrough and memorable creative work.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business or data analytics, with a focus on Live Service Games as PM or Producer
Minimum of 5+ years of experience building and presenting financial models, spreadsheets, presentations to executive teams
Experienced taking an idea from conception to execution
Experienced turning data into a clear and insightful story
High degree of fluency with analytical frameworks, quantitative models, market sizing and market research
Proven communication skills, both internally and with partners translating insight into content, create slides or written presentations, & create overall communication plans
Experienced articulating, thinking strategically and in a structured manner, and to land data-driven recommendations with engineering and business partners
Experienced with structuring, scoping and solving complex problems
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of consumer product and gaming experience, preferably working on a high-profile gaming franchise (i.e. Call of Duty, Clash of Clans, League of Legends, etc)
Exceptional, top decile communication skills
Familiarity with Music Industry deals and dynamics
Microsoft and Google Suite expert proficiency
Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL)
Most of all, a deep knowledge of gaming and AR/VR content a plus Intimate familiarity with console gaming, mobile gaming, and casual gaming business and product development
