Localization Project Manager

We’re currently seeking a skilled Localization Project Manager for a renowned technology giant, located in Austin, TX. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a hybrid work schedule, where you’ll have the chance to manage critical localization projects that support global eCommerce platforms.

About the Opportunity
As a Localization Project Manager, you’ll lead end-to-end localization efforts, working closely with both internal teams and external language specialists to ensure content is perfectly tailored to regional markets. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage high-impact projects, contribute to strategic initiatives, and collaborate across functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Manage localization projects from initiation through delivery, using translation management software (WorldServer) and translation memory tools.
• Work with key DCM teams to localize content for the eCommerce experience on client platforms.
• Lead and direct localization vendors, providing clear and concise guidelines to ensure content meets regional requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent localization requests from regional teams.
• Handle Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) projects during engineering release cycles, campaigns, and new product introductions.
• Build detailed reports for localization functions within the DCM organization.
• Participate in handoff review meetings with DCM teams and provide feedback on localization needs.
• Collaborate with other Localization Project and Program Managers to establish consistent processes and practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing a portfolio of projects, either agency or client-side.
• Proven experience in managing localization, internationalization, and/or globalization projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and effective presentations and documents.
• Experience working with international teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Highly action-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable navigating ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; Project Management qualification is a plus.
• Additional foreign language skills are a plus.

Note: To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
