How we LEAD:
Virgin Music Group is currently seeking a Commercial Marketing Manager. The position will support the North American physical products teams handling commercial marketing (sales) and physical release operations, bringing our vinyl, CDs and other products to market, to reach more fans and grow our business. The successful candidate will be a highly organized, flexible team player, able to manage numerous tasks at the same time, ensuring various team members and processes stay on track to completion. The ability to prioritize as new projects arise is essential.
How you'll CREATE:
Commercial Support: Manage retail consultation process and calendar with account directors and label/marketing managers, ensuring commercial marketing and sales programs are booked and assets are delivered for priority projects and sales programs
Information Management: Create and maintain resources related to sales results, forecasts and projections, retailer updates and self-serve ways for team members to engage with physical team
Online Project Set-Up: Collect and distribute assets for online retail set-up, including ensuring links are correct and circulated properly, liaising with Billboard for chart eligibility criteria and market share, sales are maximized
Direct To Consumer: Provide commercial operational support for D2C set-up, liaising with D2C and marketing teams
Record Store Day: Manage entire bi-annual RSD submission process, ensuring projects are sourced, submitted, tracked and successful
North/South American Support: Provide as-needed commercial team support for efforts in Canada and LATAM
Other tasks and projects as needed

2 years experience within a label, distribution or management company

Knowledge and understanding of physical music products marketplace

College degree preferred.

Salary Range:
$46,800 - $132,000The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
