About the job:
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. You'll work directly with internal customers to plan requirements and guide projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating to stakeholders. You'll utilize your expertise to manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams. This role involves driving the team's software and tooling strategy, leading system development engineering teams, owning and managing customer relationships, fostering cross-functional team collaboration, and ensuring a clear understanding of customer business requirements.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • 3 years of experience in leadership roles
  • Experience leading software development initiatives
Good to have:
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Experience working with enterprise systems

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • 3 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
  • Experience leading software development initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems.

You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
