Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Android Mobile Developer with the ability to develop for iOS as well, to join our team for the development and optimization of mobile applications. This role primarily involves the collection and analysis of data from mobile device sensors and wearables (e.g., smartwatches, fitness trackers), with the aim of providing personalized services to users.

• Design and development of applications for the Android platform that utilize data from mobile sensors (GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate, temperature, etc.) and wearables.
• Implementation of iOS applications (Swift or Objective-C) for the same functionality, focusing on the collection and processing of sensory data from devices.
• Integration of data collected from various mobile devices and wearables with backend services for further analysis and presentation.
• Development of algorithms for real-time data processing and analysis of trends or patterns in user data.
• Collaboration with other development and design teams for the development of innovative features and solutions related to personalizing experiences through collected data.
• Ensuring the security of user data with an emphasis on implementing technologies for privacy protection and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Maintenance and optimization of applications for high performance and data accuracy, troubleshooting technical issues, and debugging.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Android application development using Java or Kotlin.
• Experience in collecting data from mobile device sensors and wearable devices, as well as managing and analyzing this data.
• Ability to synchronize data from mobile devices with backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of UX/UI standards for mobile devices and ability to develop applications with a user-friendly interface.
• Previous experience in developing applications for iOS (Swift or Objective-C) and using tools such as Xcode and CocoaPods.
• Understanding of data security principles and ensuring user privacy.
• Desired experience with IoT applications and platforms that integrate data from sensors and wearables for the development of smart applications.
