About the Company

Dashtoon is a seed funded startup backed by marquee investors, and is on a mission to reinvent comics creation and consumption, using generative AI technology. We follow the standard webtoon creation process where we create storyboards from scripts , but we use our in-house generative AI based tool to help in the colouring process. This helps our artists convert storyboards to final comics in ~1 day.

About the Role

As an Animator, you will work closely with the marketing team. Your primary goal will be to brainstorm and create high-quality video content that reflects the branding priorities of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Creating and delivering animated video content for various media.
• Collaborating with the creative team to understand video ideas and bring them to life.
• Ensuring all animations are visually appealing and meet the standards expected by our audience.
• Staying up to date with the latest animation and design techniques.

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Animator, with a strong portfolio of sample projects.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and similar tools.
• A keen eye for design and aesthetics.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on marketing creatives.
• Basic knowledge of social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
• Domain specializations in content for B2C apps.

We are looking for an immediate hire. Graduates from any course are accepted, though a media background is preferred.
