The NPI Project Manager will be responsible for developing and driving portfolio and innovation strategies, leading innovation projects, and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. Key responsibilities include identifying and analyzing trends, developing and implementing strategies, developing consumer-insight based concepts, driving the innovation pipeline, leading innovation projects, and coordinating interdisciplinary teams. This role also involves reviewing and evaluating innovation performance and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience in innovation management, product development, or marketing, along with strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

As a DACH NPI Project Manager you will be responsible to develop and drive portfolio- & innovation-strategies, lead innovation projects and foster a culture of creativity and collaboration. This role is based in Germany and reports directly into the DACH BU Innovation lead.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these include some of the following:

  • Drive portfolio- and innovation strategies to help shape the future of Haleon DACH and to deliver our growth ambition.
  • Provide Leadership of the x-functional BU innovation network (including Brand, R&D, Comex, supply, finance, procurement)
  • Lead and deliver innovation projects and closely manage and deliver in year innovation performance
  • Close collaboration with regional and global innovation stakeholders driving a strong network within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and analyse trends, technologies, and market potentials
  • Develop and implement portfolio- and innovation strategies to drive in close collaboration with Brand Team
  • Develop consumer insight based concepts
  • Drive the innovation pipeline and ensure it is sufficient to achieve financial goals and aligned with strategic objectives
  • Lead innovation projects and coordinate interdisciplinary teams (including Brand, R&D, Comex, supply, finance)
  • Review and evaluate innovation performance and define actions to improve if needed in close collaboration with the brand team
  • Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration within the company
  • Evaluate and introduce new methods and processes to enhance innovation capabilities

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Experience in innovation management, product development, and/or marketing- or other commercial role
  • Creative and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of consumers, customers and experts
  • Knowledge of current technology trends, digital transformation, and design thinking
  • Strong growth-mindset and curiosity
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly
  • Strong project management skills and experience in driving x-functional teams & stakeholder management
  • Passion for future trends and the ability to identify and promote innovations
