Onward Search seeks an experienced Oracle Sales Business Analyst for a 6-month contract role (remote, EST timezone). The analyst will lead requirements gathering and implementation of Oracle Incentive Compensation, collaborating with stakeholders. Responsibilities include translating business needs into functional requirements, analyzing processes for improvement, documenting requirements and specifications, facilitating workshops, developing project documentation (process models, data flow diagrams), assisting with test planning and UAT, offering implementation support, managing issues and change requests, monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and ensuring quality and compliance. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, expertise in Oracle Incentive Compensation and Sales Performance Management, and familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Experience with UAT and end-user training is also crucial.

We are currently looking for an experienced Oracle Sales Business Analyst for one of our prestigious clients to lead the requirements gathering and implementation process for the Oracle Incentive Compensation system. This role is a great opportunity to make an impact while collaborating with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving successful project outcomes.

  • Type: Contract
  • Schedule: M-F, remote, regular business hours in EST time zone
  • Duration: 6 months expected
  • Pay: $55 - $60/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible

Opportunity Overview:
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs, document requirements, and guide the implementation of Oracle’s Incentive Compensation system. As a vital member of the team, you’ll ensure that project milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and all requirements are aligned with quality and compliance standards. Your expertise will be key in analyzing and improving business processes to create a streamlined experience for your client’s sales performance management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements.
  • Analyze business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Document business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications for system development.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and workshops with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including process models and data flow diagrams.
  • Assist in creating test plans and cases, providing support for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Offer support during the implementation phase, managing issues and change requests.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with company policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically with Oracle Incentive Compensation and Oracle Sales Performance Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools, including process modeling and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system implementation best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with UAT and training end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Understanding of incentive compensation and sales performance management concepts.

Additional Information:

  • Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings may be required.
