Job Description

The Parts Operations Lead at Tesla plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of parts operations across the UK, Ireland, and Central region. Responsibilities include leading and coordinating projects affecting multiple locations, acting as a point of contact for the parts leadership team, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Service, Virtual, Mobile Operations, Body Shop, etc.). The role involves ensuring successful project implementation, metric improvements, KPI monitoring, supporting workshop operations, and coordinating between local markets and EMEA business support. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, analytical, and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience with continuous improvement processes. The position requires fluency in English, a valid driving license, and travel.

At Tesla, our Parts Operations Lead plays a key role in the parts operations, ensuring that the parts organization in the region is set up for success and support.

As a Parts Operations Lead, you will support regional parts leadership team through critical projects, process improvement and implementation.

What You’ll Do
  • Successfully lead and coordinate projects affecting multiple locations or the entire market including new parts related offerings, new revenue, value streams and processes.
  • Act as the ‘go-to’ for the parts leadership team, supporting local service centers and driving process improvements where necessary to ensure Tesla standards throughout the operation.
  • Support parts leadership in ensuring successful project implementation, metric improvements and achieving parts operational goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key business functions including Service, Virtual, Mobile Operations, Body Shop, Campaign team, Channel Planning and Material Planning to help build integrated workflows and collaboration across departments.
  • Super-user of core systems and processes to ensure local teams support and provide improvement feedback about parts related projects and relevant product teams.
  • Monitor and support accuracy, standard compliance and improvements of critical KPIs.
  • Stay connected to workshop operation and support their needs to drive performance improvements.
  • Act as the point of coordination between local markets and EMEA business support, requesting system improvements from the field and overseeing the implementation of new tools and processes across the market as well as supporting test and learning initiatives towards continued improvements.
  • Drive adoption of best practice processes, support the role out of new standard operational procedures, ensure compliance with internal tools and processes from the parts department's standards.
