The purpose of this role is to deliver transactional and specialist HR services to Taiwan market. The
Advisor/Administrator has a full understanding of how the services operate across teams and demonstrates flexibility and adaptability by working virtually within the team, using digital tools to connect, engage and collaborate with employees.
Job Description:
Key Accountabilities
- Be responsible for on/off-boarding related administration (e.g., work permit application, LOA application), benefits administration (e.g., employee health check, EAP, occupational nurse), Workday knowledge management, and ad-hoc projects.
- Runs the monthly pre-payroll process, including joiner-mover-leaver data entry, absence management, maintain PT working hours, unused leave calculation etc. Ensuring error free execution of activities and adhering to all regulatory requirements
- Maintain and optimize Payroll system and responding to a wide variety of employee queries.
- Build knowledge of local customs and employment laws, applying this to improve the delivery of services and ensure processes remain compliant with local regulatory/statutory requirements as well as global standards and meet business expectations.
- Review and revise HR policies when required.
- Monitors the completion of queries from markets and continually identifies opportunities to improve processes and services.
Professional Skills
- Proficient in Chinese and English, both written and orally, is a must.
- Excellent computer literacy skills. Highly skilled in Microsoft Suite, especially excel skills.
- Good knowledge of HR Information systems. Preferred experience in major HRIS such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, Taleo.
- Able to multitask with excellent time management skills and to meet tight deadlines.
- Independent, task driven and able to manage conflicting priorities.
