Job Details

OUR PROJECT

We're working on an online action-adventure game. An original IP with a distinct identity. An invitation to enjoy fun action and rewarding progression in a challenging sandbox world – solo, or together with friends.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to bring people together to create stories through play. Games that are easy to pick up, but still offer plenty of depth and creativity. Worlds people want to spend time in, where they can express themselves, and have fun working things out together with friends.

OUR STUDIO

We’re part of KRAFTON, a collective of independent game studios headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Our core team is based in the heart of Prague, a UNESCO world heritage site, but we’re a hybrid team with an international outlook, cooperating closely with colleagues in Seoul and beyond.

If this sounds like a good fit for your skills and interests – and you’re looking to join a multinational crew of friendly, open-minded creatives – our studio might just be the perfect next vector.

Responsibilities

An integral part of the production team, the Producer helps to ensure that deliverables are completed on-time and at-quality by managing day-to-day production topics in their area of responsibility.

As one of the first point-of-contacts for production topics in their local studio, they bridge communications, identify / escalate issues, and, more broadly, contribute towards all production-related activities.

Facilitate Progress

  • Plan, schedule, and distribute tasks in cooperation with the project leadership and other discipline leads.
  • Monitor tasks and, where needed, recommend adjustments of priorities / workloads.
  • Create or alter workflows, processes, and procedures.
  • Cultivate adequate tools for the development team.
  • Facilitate the deployment / maintenance of development workflows, and identify / propose improvements.
  • Track project milestones and generate reports on progress.

Bridge Communications

  • Act as the first point-of-contact for production-related topics for the local team.
  • Plan and document meetings / follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate non-structural information-sharing between developers, departments, and branches (in-person, slack, email, etc.).
  • Identify and resolve communication issues and facilitate the cross-studio cooperation with all studios involved.

Identify Issues / Risks

  • Manage, resolve, and, where necessary, escalate project / discipline-related issues to leadership.
  • Keep track of the mood in the project team, and flag potential individual / interpersonal / corporate issues.

Coordinate Resources / Stakeholders

  • Manage (action / re-direct / escalate) requests from internal stakeholders / service departments (HR, Ops, Finance, Publishing etc.).
  • Actively coordinate QA work with other disciplines and directors.

Contribute to Production

  • Contribute towards the creation and maintenance of project documentation, communications, and reports.
  • Contribute towards the establishment and fulfillment of the staffing / capacity plan.
  • Contribute towards the establishment and maintenance of production OKRs and KPIs.
  • Take part in the planning and scheduling of the project milestones.

Attributes

This role demands the ability to both draw upon a set of proven experiences and learn new skills. Beyond specialist individual expertise and independent problem-solving, the capacity to partner with and persuade more experienced team members is crucial.

Required

  • Several years' experience in game production
  • Excellent proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Working knowledge of software development and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Ability to track and maintain schedules, and drive a task group to completion.
  • Proficiency in writing documentation.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technical skills and techniques.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and drive towards clarity.
  • Strong diplomatic and problem-solving skills.

Welcomed

  • Experience using Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience planning, executing, and evaluating playtests.
  • Experience working in a hybrid/remote environment.
  • Experience working with the Unreal Engine.
  • Experience creating and adapting workflows.
