Job Description

As a Product Manager, Workspace Monetization at Google, you'll be part of the Google Workspace Commerce team, driving business growth by enhancing the commerce platform to accelerate product-led growth. Responsibilities include defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on user needs and business impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, business), monitoring key metrics, gathering user feedback, and executing go-to-market strategies. You'll work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, ensuring a user-centric approach to development and providing ongoing support and maintenance post-launch. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in SaaS product management, and a proven track record of driving product success. You'll be responsible for making it delightful for stakeholders to transact Google Workspace products and improve customer adoption and engagement.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years product management experience
2+ years experience taking products to launch
Experience with SaaS product-led growth
Cross-functional collaboration skills
User-centric product development
Data analysis and metric monitoring
Go-to-market strategy execution

Good to have:

Experience in subscription management or e-commerce
Experience working on platforms or horizontals
Client management and presentation skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
2 years of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in driving growth for Software as a service (SaaS) businesses by implementing product-led-growth techniques.
Experience in collaborating on projects involving multiple teams, managing an ongoing relationship with clients, and presenting to audiences.
Experience in identifying and addressing customer needs.
Experience in subscription management or e-commerce platforms.
Experience working on products where user acquisition, expansion, conversion, and retention are all influenced primarily by the product itself.
Experience working on platforms or horizontals, with effective agreement, communication skills.

Responsibilities

Define the product outlook and roadmap, aligning it with the overall business objectives, Prioritize features and functionalities based on user needs and business impact, and align the strategy with key stakeholders across different product areas and geographies.
Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g., engineering, UX, business, etc.) to define product requirements, user stories, and user flows and ensure a user-centric approach to product development.
Monitor key product metrics and gather user feedback to analyze product performance and identify areas for improvement and run experiments to test hypotheses.
Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the product.
Own the product after launch, providing ongoing support, maintenance and continuously gather user feedback and iterate on the product to ensure continued success.
