You will lead many aspects of a sophisticated Costuming business, which could include any combination of the following: Cosmetology, Harmony Barbershop, Audio Animatronics, Alterations Workrooms, Entertainment, Character, or Operational Costuming. You will set the example and provide clarity and guidance for all operational priorities, which we include as The Five Keys Basics and Operational Excellence. If selected, you will report to the Director of Walt Disney World Costuming Operations.

This a Full-Time Role
Prioritize safety, ensuring a work environment where no one gets hurt.
Lead a diversified team of leaders, unionized and non-union hourly Cast Members
Create an inclusive, respectful environment for everyone and hold others responsible for a positive model of behavior
Handle all financial and operating logistics, including budgets, timelines, facility improvements, scheduling, labor management, rehearsals, training, and safety protocols
Focus on departmental priorities, including safety, show quality, innovation, Cast development, and delivering a magical experience to our Guests
Handle high-pressure situations and respond to show downtimes, contingencies, Cast or costume challenges, and emergencies, while keeping safety top of mind
Proven understanding and application of Walt Disney World® collective bargaining agreements, including Actors Equity Association (AEA), American Federation of Musicians (AFM), and Service Trades Union contracts including International Association of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) side letter
Develop partnerships, including those with Entertainment Production, Costume Design and Development, Costume Production, Talent Casting, Engineering Services, Textile Services, and Labor Relations
Verify that yearly inspections, audits, and certifications of equipment and facilities are scheduled and completed to improve operational availability
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a leadership role
Experience managing change, balancing priorities, and handling confidential information
Understanding of daily Walt Disney World Costuming, Cosmetology, and Costuming Workroom operations or experience with like operations externally
Flexibility to work a variable schedule that includes overnights, weekends, and holidays
Degree or related work experience in costuming, garment construction, technical theatre, hair and makeup, or other subject areas within the garment or entertainment industries
